Duelund dca16ga. Myth or real ?

Ok after reading Jeff's excellent feedbacks I decided to give it a shot.

Duelund's nice smelling cable has tin plated, 16awg multistranded  copper conductor within oily cotton tubing. It's simple, low cost, organic, and most importantly tin plated..

I have been using tin plated copper cable on my woofer connection since I discovered the unique sonic character of tin plating. My last cable, before tinned one, was  Neotech Nes 3002 individually insulated multi solid core copper (7N purity) design. It was indeed special and good sounding cable especially for entire range but if we're talking bass only than much cheaper tinned one was my champion. Some people say sounding like vintage but my definition is perfectly tuned bass. Somehow it makes my woofers sounding tight and full.

I like separated pair design over twisted pair especially for low frequencies. Separating means lower the wire capacitance as much as possible. Moderate even little high capacitance values may not be a problem for some equipments having strong driving capability but in my system I clearly hear the drawbacks of capacitance coming from twisting.

In the first minutes I had some positive and negative feelings.. Bass became slightly tighter and natural. On the other hand I felt lost on lower extensions. After four to five hours lost things came back even with more tonal balance and accuracy. I have to admit that this cable sound much more strong than its tiny look. Two days passed...now my woofers sound better then ever. More tight, more articulated and more natural.  In 3-way speaker system there are some interesting interactions between bass and mid drivers, also between mid and tweeters. If you alter one's performance then you hear that the other one is affected.. This effect can be positively or negatively according to nature of the work done.  After added Duelund to woofer, mid range became more alive. This is my another proof that I'was doing the right job with Duelund dca16ga.

Thanks Duelund. Dca16ga is a real big deal..
